How Long Will I Love You?

It was a sunny Saturday morning and Chloe woke with a jolt. Today was a special occasion; she was going to Bellever Forest with her boyfriend and her best friend. She merrily bustled around the house and glanced over at Dan with anticipation. He seemed nervous. Liz arrived, armed with a camera, and they set off for Dartmoor.

Once Liz was set up with her camera and tripod, Chloe's excitement grew. This was such a beautiful place, she couldn't have imagined anything more romantic. Stood near the river and framed in the camera, Dan took her hands in his and gazed into her eyes. This was it. She knew it. Dan was going to propose.

He didn't.

Several hours of shooting and a Nando's meal later, a dejected Chloe confided in Liz. She told her friend how she was sure Dan was going to propose, how she thought he had set the whole day up so Liz could be there and catch the moment on video. It would have been perfect. At this revelation, Liz burst into tears of laughter. The whole shoot was organised by Liz to make a video for her uni work, just as she'd told Chloe before - nothing more, nothing less. Now giggling, Chloe said she thought that was just a cover.

At least Dan now knows not to propose on a romantic walk in the woods. She'd see that coming a mile off.
